Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The life of Leina as well of many of her closer aquiantences changed dramatically this morning--Leina found herself a full time job. She is accepting a position working for adult protective services, which is the type of work she wants (Leina finds protecting adults very rewarding). It is a short-term job without benefits that is expected to expire in April, but it pays well and could turn into a permenent job.
So things will be different. Those who have been depending on Leina for rides to/from the airport, childcare, picking up/dropping off drycleaning, web enabling their cell phones, and stimulating conversation at any hour of the day will now need to schedule those favors from Leina either before 8:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. Leina's availablity over her lunch hour is not yet certain, but she may be able to squeeze you in if you give her a day's notice. Leina may not have the time to drive over to Clemente Street to buy tomatoes and lettuce. Her trips from Millbrae to Marin will decrease to fewer than one a week.
Leina feels bad about leaving Mr. Turner and not giving him a lot of notice, but this is a great opportunity for her, and he certainly understands. Leina will likely still be putting in a few hours a week for him on weekends for the next couple of weeks.

Mr Turner, there is a cute little filipina senior who lives near Ocean that would be interested in a pt job. Her personality would mesh with Sanders. Shall we call her?
Leina, have you ever worked 40+ hours a week?
Aunty Leina, can you pick me up at SFO in mid August or will I have to take Super Shuttle?
congrats leina!
Does this mean that I can call Leina at 6:30 am on my commute to work?
i say we all chip in for leina's salary so she does not have to work and can continue making airport trips, taking me to h&m when i come visit and can still go to all those weddings.
only kidding! I don't mind taking the bart. congrats leina!
