And the answer to the question that everyone is dying to ask is: Leina slept okay last night and not too good the night before. But she hasn't given up yet. She is confident that soon she and the bed will get comfortable with each other and she'll enjoy deeper sleeps than she'd previously known were possible.

Liane, I mentioned Marin b/c I like to support the community I live in. This may be counter-intuitive but I know where the deals are here...part of my "network". The parking is free and as you know Leina doen't like to add quarters into the meters. She always make you stay in the car while she does her errands b/c she doesn't like to feed the meter (not even a nickle, yeah in Marin we have nickle meters...does SF?). Liane,I wonder if her friends know that leina is aka Macfrugle???
yeah! nice to have some controversy on the message boards. Personally, I thought that the $5 toll to get to Marin + gas money eats up most of that parking savings.
AE, we know about your "deals"...free newspapers...free coffee. But,you are right about Leina's issues with the parking meter. One time she made me circle around Japantown for a "free" parking spot instead of taking the first available which happened to be a meter spot. We ended up parking by the SF Buddhist Church (Pine & Octavia)and we had to walk to the Yasukochi's Sweet Stop (Sutter & Buchanan) to pick up a full sheet strawberry shortcake and one fruitbar cookie.
